Joanne Ventura has been practicing in New Jersey
since 1979. Her practice focuses in the areas of Family Law, Divorce,
Wills, Trusts, Estate Planning, Elder Law and Business law. For
four years she was a Master in the Thomas S. Forkin Family Law Inns
of Court. She regularly appears in Camden and Burlington County
as a Matrimonial Early Settlement Panelist assisting other attorneys
and litigants in resolving their divorce litigation. She has also
been actively involved in the South Jersey Legal Services Private
Attorney (Pro Bono) Involvement Program. Our law firm has been honored
by Legal Services of New Jersey with an Equal Access to Justice
Medal.
Ms. Ventura is trained as a Divorce and Family
Law Mediator and regularly is called on to help people reach fair
and cost-effective settlements, that capacity. She presently serves
on the panel of mediators for the United States Bankruptcy Court
for the District of New Jersey and for the New Jersey Superior Court,
Family Part.
Ms. Ventura has served as a Court appointed guardian
on several occasions. She regularly handles real estate transactions,
Estate litigation, guardianships and incompetency proceedings. She
is a regular speaker before the local chapter of the American Society
of Certified Financial Planners on various topics related to her
practice and expertise.
She is a past-President of Cerebral Palsy of New
Jersey (Advancing Opportunities, )a statewide not-for-profit organization
serving the needs of individuals with a wide variety of disabilities.
She also serves, and is Chair of the Board of Directors of the non-profit
Moorestown School of Music, South Jersey's Suzuki School.
