Mediation

Both Steven Neuner and Joanne Ventura are trained mediators. Both serve on the mediation panel for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.

Mediation may be a worthwhile alternative for many. See our article "Why Mediate?" Mediation is a process by which, with the help of a skilled mediator, the parties are able to reach a common understanding of each others' concerns and reach a voluntary settlement. A skilled mediator can often help the parties break through the problems that prevent them from reaching a fair and mutually beneficial settlement. Of course, we cannot provide mediation services to our clients, since the mediator must be a disinterested third party. Because of our bankruptcy and family law expertise, we can provide special help for clients with financial problems, or spouses in bankruptcy or contemplating it.
